Circles of Grace jpgCircles of Grace Small Groups

Looking for more than a Sunday Worship experience?

Small groups offer faith development opportunities for children, youth and adults. Each small group defines their focus, such as bible study, book club, community service, special interest, and other areas.

If you are interested in leading a small group or would like to discuss opportunities to join current groups, contact the church via email:

  • Adult Small Group – 9:30 am
  • Youth Group – Room 207, 9:30am

  • Men’s Morning Prayer – Prayer Room, 7 am

  • NAR Anonymous – Fellowship Hall, 7:00 pm

Grace United Methodist Church works with Holy Trinity, Zion United Church of Christ, Vineyard Central, and Epiphany United Methodist Church to support the Whiz Kids Tutoring and Mentoring program in Norwood.  The program will serve the Norwood elementary schools: Norwood View, Sharpsburg Elementary, and Williams Avenue Elementary.

Whiz Kids provides all of the curriculum required to implement the program. Volunteers from the local community, local churches, and the United Methodist connectional churches will tutor students one-to-one weekly.

We are looking for tutors to serve weekly, once a month, or periodically as a substitute.

If you are interested in tutoring on a regular basis – every week, once a month or periodically as a substitute, sign up via the City Gospel Mission website (when applying, select site: Norwood Grace UMC):
